Scott has been a leader of turnaround and start-up media companies, has led buyout transactions with total value of $1.2 billion and acted as an investor, advisor and leader to young growth businesses. Currently, Scott is an investor in, and advisor to Tales2Go, BizHive, BDEX, InteliOps and Ridgeback Network Defense.

Scott served as CEO of Films Media Group, the largest library of educational video in North America, where he led a transformational business turnaround. He was also the founding president of Software on Demand, distributing software electronically via satellite, and Zuma ed, a digital content provider for K-12 instructors. 

As a corporate development executive at Primedia, Inc. (KKR) Scott led more than 30 buyout transactions of online, video, event and print media companies. Early in his career, he was a sales management leader in broadcast television. Scott earned an MBA from Columbia and an AB from Harvard University.
