Sharad Mansukani has served as a Director of IMS Health since April 2010. Sharad has served as a TPG Senior Advisor since 2005.

He serves on the board of directors of Surgical Care Affiliates, Inc., IASIS Healthcare Corp., Immucor Inc. and Par Pharmaceuticals Companies, Inc. Sharad serves as Strategic Advisor to the board of directors of CIGNA and previously served as Vice Chairman of HealthSpring Inc.

Sharad also serves on the board of directors of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Medical Quality, Managed Care, Biotechnology Healthcare and American Health & Drug Benefits.

Sharad was senior vice president and chief medical officer at Health Partners, a 150,000 member Medicaid and Medicare health plan owned by the Philadelphia-area medical schools.

Sharad was appointed to Medicare’s Payment Advisory and Oversight Committee, and he was previously Senior Advisor to CMS and a member of the Medicare Reform Executive Committee.

Sharad previously served on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and at Temple University School of Medicine.

Sharad completed his residency and fellowship in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a fellowship in quality management and managed care at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
