Li Songbo, Partner at DFJ Compass, has more than 15 years of experience in telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) sector.

Li co-founded China’s first commercial website SRS Online in 1996, which is the predecessor of SINA.com.

As the former Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of R&D at SINA, Li had successfully led the development of a number of renowned products, such as news publishing system, online community and the prize-winning SinaBlog. Li is an expert in building high-performance yet low-cost computer cluster.

Li also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Five Minutes, a developer and operator of social games.

Currently Li is a Technology and Product Consultant for Sina.com, as well as the Board Adviser of LoongStore and other IT companies.

Li received his Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University of Technology and his MBA from the China-Europe International Business School.
