As vice president of marketing, Steve Schley has oversight responsibility for corporate marketing strategy, brand execution and thought leadership programs. He holds deep experience with B2B software and services companies managing sales and marketing teams and transforming businesses through innovative go-to-market strategies.

Previous to Kroll Ontrack, Schley worked nearly ten years with CPA Global, most recently as vice president responsible for strategic planning and revenue growth in their legal services division. He is credited with developing the company’s first channel partner program, establishing a network of product/service partners, consultants and resellers. Prior to CPA Global, Schley was president of a Minneapolis-based software firm that provided accounting and productivity tools to the accounting and legal industries.

Schley received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business, followed by Executive Leadership Education from Harvard Business School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in Entrepreneurship and Business.
