Stéphane Prodent manages the Automation and Advanced Technologies team in the Technology department of Rio Tinto Aluminium. Graduate engineer in automation, robotic and industrial computing, he has 20 years of professional experience in industrial IT. Stéphane joined Rio Tinto in 2001, he was in charge of process control product development and then, of technological transfer projects. In 2011, he was given control of the new automation projects and he has developed MAX One, the Rio Tinto self-driving truck.
