Suzanne Campbell was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Information Industry Association in July 2011. She is a member and Past President at Sydney Cove Rotary Club and is currently Chair of The Rotary Foundation in District 9750.

Suzanne has more than 20 years of IT and telecommunications experience, which includes leading major change, transformation and growth projects for domestic and international companies to deliver significant results.

Most recently at Telstra, Suzanne was responsible for managing their Professional Services group. This group provided consulting, project management and operational services to clients including nab, Qantas, Westpac, Woolworths, Tabcorp, Medibank, VicRoads, the South Australian Government and Telstra.

Prior to this, Suzanne has held roles including Managing Director of MCI Worldcom, where she was responsible for leading the business from a green fields operation to a credible and successful player in the local market. Her role included establishing a team of over 250 to deploy telecommunications networks, launch new services, win new business and provide appropriate customer service support and rolling-out of a fibre optic network in Sydney and Melbourne for corporate, government and business customers.

Suzanne has also held senior management positions with Unwired and KAZ.Her first foray into IT was with Lawpoint where, as head of operations, she was responsible for the development and deployment of online information services.

Suzanne has qualifications from the University of Sydney and University of New South Wales and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors GAICD. She is currently undertaking further studies at the University of Sydney.
