Tim is a Co-Founder and Partner at Grand Ventures. Prior to Co-Founding Grand Ventures, Tim Co-Founded Huron River Ventures (HRV) an early-stage venture fund focused on innovative agriculture, energy, and transportation companies. Prior to co-founding Huron River Ventures, Tim co-led HSBC Card Services’ New Products group as well as its Corporate Ventures group focused on business services, financial technology, and digital marketing. In his New Products role, he co-founded and operated a first-of-its-kind consumer payment and affinity loyalty business including forming and leading the business development, marketing, and program management teams. Prior to joining the venture community, Tim spent 5 years in capital markets and mergers & acquisitions at J.P. Morgan in Chicago, executing dozens of transactions valued in excess of $10 billion.

Tim graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and received his MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
