Tom Collins, 52, is senior vice president of supply chain for Motorola Solutions. He is responsible for ensuring consistent, on-time and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products, services and solutions for the company.

Collins draws his experience from more than 25 years managing supply chain and manufacturing organizations. He joined Motorola through the acquisition of Symbol Technologies in 2007, where he was senior vice president of supply chain. Before joining Symbol in 2000, he was director of manufacturing for Bose.

Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in business and management information systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received the 2004 Shingo Prize for outstanding lean manufacturing operations.
