As one of the early evangelist, he started his blockchain journey since 2013, with primary focus on distributed business innovation research, development and promotion. Mr. Tao is the co-author of Blockchain and Distributed Business Whitepaper. He joined Wanxiang Blockchain at Aug. 2016 and co-founded Distributed Business Accelerator, the first and fast growing community based blockchain startups accelerator in the world, and WanCloud, the first Blockchain-as-a-Service platform and bridge between traditional industry users and permissionless blockchains. Additionally, Mr. Tao launched the Blockchain Recognition Revolution program to spread blockchain technology and relevant knowledge online which is the first blockchain lecturing program at Hundun University, the largest cyber university in China focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation with many of the world’s best scholars and practitioners. Mr. Tao’s program has more than 210,000 audience from both China and abroad. He also has over 18 years IT business and service management experiences in IBM and HP. Mr. Tao holds a master degree in Physics and B.A degree in E&E.
