William “Mac” Evans is the President at W MacDonald Evans Consulting Inc. He has worked for 30 years in the Canadian Space Program. In 1994 he was appointed President of the Canadian Space Agency, a position he held for seven years until his retirement from the Public Service in 2001.

Mr. Evans holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University (1964) and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in England. He has been awarded Honorary Doctorates from Queen’s and York universities
