Clay is healthcare executive with a clinical focus in oncology and an administrative focus in business planning and financial analytics at the University of California, San Diego.

As a former United States Marine and terminal cancer survivor, Clay lived in the hospital for the better part of 2-years between 2008 and 2010. As a resident in the inpatient oncology ward, Clay observed how there was a lack of patient and family resources available that served as a streamlined patient-advocacy delivery system for the patients receiving care. Upon co-founding Family Proud Clay knew that he and the team would be filling this clearly understated gap in patient service. ​Clay’s leadership and contribution is focused on enabling growth while also improving the quality and scalability of the services rendered to patients in need.
